RM BM

Today we visited the Courtauld where I left my bag in the cafe so we had to retrace our steps along the Strand and re-pass a shop selling second-hand IWC wrist watches, which was hard.

Then we took a 'heritage' RM (the one above) to Trafalgar Square. We visited the Portrait Gallery for about half an hour then after waiting ages for a bus towards Tottenham Court Rd decided to walk.

I was looking for a camera shop to buy a replacement lens hood. After some helpful advice we found Kingsley's at 93 TC Rd i.e. the other end of it! They had a super flexible lens hood which fitted perfectly and was just £6 to boot.

Next we walked across to the BM and viewed the wonderful exhibition of renaissance drawings. Chris finally had her birthday present - the splendid hard bound edition of the catalogue.
