Burnett Work

These photos show the range of work Roger and I did last Wednesday and Thursday before the snow set in again, on Sunday morning in fact, but the rest of the week was rather a wash-out as I had yet anther cold.
The Cornus thicket has been drastically pruned back although it is going to need something like this treatment every February we think.
This dry stone wall, if one could grace it with such a title, was in a collapsed state and so it has been rebuilt.
These terracing stones were re-set and a new stepping stone path laid.
Roger made a stepping stone path down to the stream. This one had to be cemented onto good foundations.
I will work more on these areas when the weather is dryer. Rog has left me a nice pile of Yorkshire stone.
