When Danny and the girls came visiting last week there were loads of things they wanted to do. Here are some of the things they got up to.
First, they had to go to Manchester for clothes shopping ....
Visiting the Whitworth Art Gallery in trendy Rusholme. Below is the blown-up shed which we had first seen in Paris at the Pompidou Centre, when we didn't know it was a blown-up shed. It's lighted with a single 200 watt lamp, which like we are not allowed to buy because of EU rules. And that's so unfair.
It's much the same really, but slightly more intelligible when Danny explains what's going on.
On this street in trendy Rusholme is where Dan met Harriet, ages ago. He was a pizza man.
The next day we went for a walk up a near-by extremely steep hill, which was very popular as you can see. But this was a royd or clough or something which Chris had wanted to investigate one day when it wasn't pouring with rain.
Maeve agreed to pose patiently for Danny to photograph her in a scene inspired by either Lewis Carroll or John Ruskin, I can't decide which.
