I've wanted to go to Hardcastle Crags for ages. I think the last time I went was several years when Dan, Harriet, Dory and Maeve were here.
I keep meaning to go in May when the bluebells are out, but a warm, sunny Autumn day was a good time to go too.
It seemed to take us ages to get to Gibson Mill. I think this was the first time we'd been here since it was opened, with a cafe and shop. We stopped for coffee and cakes before going in for a guided tour around the mill.
