Pointe du Grouin

We left our private campsite at Roz-sur-Couesnon, which was on the 'polders'. This is reclaimed land. Interestingly we use the word polders too for the self same thing, at least in ecological writing.
On our way to the next private commercial campsite outside St Malo we visited Pointe du Grouin. This is a nature reserve where some headland is roped off for its protection and re-growth. Above I think a geranium.
A Nazi occupation block-house can be seen in the background to the right of the notice.
