We went over to see Bob and Liz on Saturday. He was playing bass ukelele in a pick-up band in a pub at the Lancaster music festival. I found it quite difficult to hear anything at all over the din of the pub crowd, however people seemed to be enjoying themselves. Also, the light level was very low and even ISO 3500 was unsatisfactory.
Bob has joined his local camera club. Their next project is portraiture so Bob has bought five volumes to study and is on book two. He wanted to practice by taking a portrait of myself, to which I graciously assented.
These photographs demonstrate the superiority of his new Canon equipment as well as his advanced technical and artistic abilities.
The photo below has been rejected by Bob on the grounds of refracted light in my right spectacle lens.
The rules of photographic portraiture do not favour people with spectacles.
